I finished this coverup recently on Patrick who up until this project hadn’t been tattooed in years. We worked over a purple dragon that occupied the outside of his arm, fortunately whoever did it decided not to scale the dragon for the body. It looks so odd to me when tattooers work to such a small scale, trying to fit a whole dragon on a bicep essentially turns it from one of the most majestic mystical creatures in to a newt. It also doesn’t permit the tattoo to “fit” on a persons body but rather have a stuck on look, guess it’s time for an upgrade.

I’m super happy with how Patricks arm turned out though and can’t thank the people who choose to get tattooed by me enough.
