Just sank myself in to a comfy chair in reception at the Holiday Inn where I’ve spent the past couple of days working, so I thought I’d take a few minutes and share some of what’s been going on.
Yesterday I added to a piece started earlier in the year and it’s always reassuring when a client returns for more work. It’s a sign of recognition and appreciation for the style of work I do and the effort put in to building a relationship and earning the trust of anybody who puts their skin in my hands.
It was a tough session for Gareth especially when after 5 hours of tattooing we had the elbow (hellbow) left to colour.
With a strong will we pushed on and managed to get everything completed…until his next tattoo.
After a day of work I was relaxing on my bed when I was greeted with this view…
…which resulted in this.
Despite Halloween being last weekend it did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of those attending the fancy dress party and once again it was a great evening with entertainment put on by the clever and quirky Thom and Chrisbee (www.thomandchrisbee.com)
Today I got to catch up with an old friend and add some more to his “backpiece”.
All in all a great weekend but now I’m ready to head back, see my little girl and get ready for the week ahead. I hope you all had a great weekend.
